Nice

Thats very good. Its a bit quiet, though. Try to add a compressor or just turn the volume up. Theres little to no static (I cant really tell, when i turn my speakers up it produces static). If you ever decide to put these on an album I'll buy it for sure.

Triskele responds:

Heh, thanks a lot...Yes, my mic records VERY quietly, and when I bring it up there's a lot of static...I tried to make a balance, but it did leave it on the soft side :P

Great!

Man your music's incredible. My uncle is full Irish and im 1/4 and i have i hard time undstanding him sometimes. Every time i visit him he has music like this playing and i listen to the thing at walmart that has walmart. You guys did a great job 5/5 on all. I just have one question. I'm pretty sure there are to ways to say celtic, like seltic and keltic. And if i remeber right one is the soccer team and anther is the music. If you could clarify on this a bit it would help. Good job on your music and keep it up.

Triskele responds:

Yes, the "correct" way to pronounce it is "keltik," but when sports teams started using the names, they mispronounced...whenever you're referring to a sports team, it's pronounced "seltik"

Thanks for the review, I appreciate it :D

awesome man

You have to let me do a remix of this, its incredible! Its got a great catchy tune and is fun and up beat. great work man. Peace!

noxious890 responds:

haha shure thing dude...ill send you the midi file

Its ok

If this is your first song you as good as anyone else that starts. It sounds like your using the step sequencer, insted try to use the piono roll....its faster easier and more effective. Your off to a good start and i wish you luck on your music career.

One question though, you say a 3DS Max artist and your webstite's Discreet. Asuming you either work for them or have talent with 3D production, maybe you could give me a few tips.

badjokes responds:

I could spare one major tip, I most definitly recomend Lynda.com tutorials, they are very indepth. This is only if you are truly interested in 3-d, they may become tedious if you're not serious about learning.

I purchased Friuty Loops software, and thats how I have come to dabble in making music :)

Great Track Man

Very nice and so smoothing. I love it. It really got my in a mood. 5/5. Just what is the BotAP?
Any way, awesome job man.

Psybot responds:

BotAP = "Battle of the audio portal"

Overall...not bad

As a whole this song was pretty good. Personally i enjoyed the faster tempo more then when it played slow but the fact that it changed had me much more into the song wondering what would happen next. The guitar was nice though bit to much phasor in my opinion. Any way as i said overall a pretty good track and ill enjoy to hear what you put up next.

subsonic responds:

thanks! i like the tempo faster, too. true, the guitar could be better. thanks for the review!

Winter wonderland

Thats what i would of named it, i love it man. Awsome work really wants to make play in the snow...too bad i live in texas :( The beat was nice with some nice synths and i heard a phaser in the drums. And dont get me started on the melodie, perfectly fits the synths and adds so much too the mood. Really nice but it seems the songs just stops, but i cant complain. Just one question for you, what program did you use and what synths/samples did you use, because im needing to some better sounds. I hope you can help.....keep up the work!

crud responds:

well my snow loving friend, since we have that in common i feel i should inform you that your review made me want to dive into a pile of snowy powder.
the synths and all those crazy things you loved so much about this downtempo softy are all my crafting in a little program called Fruity Loops.
Since most of the synths that come with the program are just to cheezy for my liking, i stick with the generators and warp the sounds just how i like'em. my favorite ríght now is wasp. the thick old skool buzzy sound of it makes great sizzling basslines and perky high synth pops. good fun.
Just play around with ALL the knobs. you might get some hideous sounds at first, but once you figure out what works you can control every little part of your instrument.

wow i wrote alot. thank you very much for the awesome review. just fantastic.

Very much soothing

Very nice, I liked the variety of instruments. Its catchy tune and smooth rhythm really sets this one aside from other songs Ive heard. But what really astonishes me is your abilty to set out so many songs so increably fast. I have been busy with school the past few days and when I come back, WHAM! at least 5 new entries, very impressive. Keep up the work man!

Shadoman111 responds:

Thank man. I know I try to make a song whenever I can and the fact that I can't save has hurt my music making alot. Keep checking back to listen to more music!

Wow man incridable. I was just looking around the new submissions list and click on urs. I was listening to it and thought....hhmmmm this guys got some talent. Then i looked at the author and saw it was you and i was astounded. Ur improving pretty fast.
I Especially liked the shaker and the trace synth was nice. Just one thing i would recommend for your next peice, try not to loop the same melonie thruoght the whole song. Otherwise terrific! =D
